What is the difference between joining a Connect LIVE!™ chapter or an Online Community Chapter?
What Women Want™ has numerous Connect LIVE!™ Chapters across the country that hold exciting, powerhouse events monthly for women to network in person. These regional chapters’ memberships include free event attendance along with the online benefits that includes an online profile, a personal blog and photo gallery, business building how-to's, live chat connections and coffee chats, informational forum discussions and resources along with many other benefits that are listed on www.whatwomenwantnetworking.com. Joining the Online Community is a unique way of becoming a part of our movement online and experiencing all of the above (including attending Connect LIVE! Events at a discount) for a low monthly price.
Where do I sign up?
Just click the "Apply Now" tab on the homepage, click the type of membership you would like and register! It's as simple as that. And then you can start instantly connecting and collaborating with our other fabulous women.
When does my What Women Want™ membership begin?
Your What Women Want™ membership begins from the day you register.
How do I start a profile?
When you register you will automatically get a profile to complete, plus your own blog, photo gallery, access to forums, blogs, a career center and much more. Be sure to fill out your profile completely, as we are always scouting to present members for press (especially TV!) and also for other unique promotional opportunities that feature our members, whether it is on the website itself or for a media outlet.
How do I change my password?
Go to the "Quick Links" box at the lower right hand corner of your page (you must be signed in) and click on "My Command Center" then under "Information & Settings" click "Edit Bio."
How do I upload photos?
It's easy - just go to the "Quick Links" box at the lower right hand corner of your page (you must be signed in) and click on "My Command Center" then scroll down to "Photo Gallery."
Will my profile be public?
You can edit your preferences in "My Command Center" (under the "Quick Links" box on the lower right hand corner of the page - you must be signed in) to public, private or members only by clicking on the icon on the left for each section.
Is a What Women Want profile included in the price of a membership if I join through a selected chapter or at a Connect LIVE! Chapter event?
Yes, a profile, your own blog, photo gallery and all of the other endless online benefits are included for every membership purchase whether it’s online or at an event. If you join through a live event, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to create a profile, along with your receipt when your purchase has been approved.
Is there a long-term commitment involved?
The longer you're a member, the more you will benefit from our service as we will be adding more and more opportunities and resources to help you network and/or grow your business. The commitment for Connect LIVE! Chapter memberships is one year, the Online Community Membership is month-to-month.
Is it safe?
It’s always a good idea to be aware that some of your information may be viewed by the public and to choose your privacy settings carefully. If you choose a completely private setting your profile will not be seen by anyone but you.
What if we don't live in the US or near a Connect LIVE! Chapter?
That is what our Online Community Chapter is for! This is specifically to take advantage of the networking and benefits online no matter where you live.
How Can I cancel my What Women Want™ membership?
Online Community memberships are set to automatically renew. You can cancel your next renewal at any time by going to MY COMMAND CENTER (Under Quick Links) and clicking on "Membership" then the red "X" to cancel the next scheduled dues charge.
How do I report abuse?
