ABOUT LILLIAN KREPPEL:

Lillian’s Mission: To create mass awareness and education about a rare, and growing, cancer caused by HPV. To save lives and eradicate this cancer for the next generation.

My name is Lillian Kreppel. I am a go-getter, resourceful, fun, and funny—and I love life. I grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and attended The University of Hartford, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. I have lived in New York City since 1993 and love to take advantage of all it has to offer. My career has provided me the opportunity to work and travel for a variety of corporations in a sales capacity. The companies I have worked for span from the Hotel Industry to Broadway to Canyon Ranch to Equinox gyms. I am currently the National Director of Sales and Business Development for a Health and Wellness company that brings wellness to the workplace.

I love to travel, learn new languages, and meet new and interesting people. Any place with a beach and water is my “go to” spot. I am always reading and am very interested in health and personal growth. I am an avid gym-goer and I also love to ride my bike outdoors. I love to cook, entertain, and be around the ones I love. I am a people person and an influencer. I am very inquisitive, curious, interested, and a good listener. I am unanimously positive and like to help others. Because of what I went through late last year, with cancer, I am on a mission to educate the masses and to save lives.

ABOUT JUSTINE ALMADA:

Justine Almada is the Executive Director and co-founder of The HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation. Alongside her brother and sister, Justine founded the organization after their loving and incredible mother died from anal cancer in 2010. Anal cancer is part of a larger group of cancers caused by a skin virus, HPV. Globally, HPV causes 5% of all cancer — and yet is preventable with immunization and screening. Justine steers the Foundation’s programs to raise awareness, advocate for prevention, accelerate treatments, and support patients. She is a national speaker at scientific conferences, patient forums, and legislative bodies on our ability to eradicate these cancers in our lifetime. Justine received the inaugural Biden Cancer Initiative’s Exemplary Leadership (LEAP) Award this year for her transformative impact on the lives of cancer patients.

Justine’s background is in public policy, having served as Chief of Staff to a New York City Council Member. In this capacity, she led legislative, budget, and community initiatives to improve lives. She a lifelong New Yorker, a graduate of Wesleyan University, and a Milken Scholar.
