Amy Lyle is an author, comedian, actor, and screenwriter that grew up in Marietta, Ohio, which is in the heart of Appalachia, known for a population that is partial to moonshine and prone to acts of violence.

Graduating from The Ohio State University, she worked as a corporate trainer for one of the largest talent acquisition firms in the world. In 2010, she stepped out of corporate America to work as a writer, actor, and television personality.

Lyle’s books, The Amy Binegar-Kimmes-Lyle Book Of Failures and We’re All A Mess, It’s OK, both released at number one in the “Humor & Entertainment” category on Amazon and have remained bestsellers since publication. Amy is the writer and co-host of the UI Media’s, “In The Burbs,” a 60-minute talk.

Amy has volunteered as an actor at Browns Bridge Church for the past ten years. She also volunteers at The Place of Forsyth, a non-profit that helps people become self-sustaining.

Amy lives outside Atlanta with her husband, Peter, four teenagers, and three very large rescue dogs.
